Who can start the HeyTaco Deluxe trial?

HeyTaco admins can opt into the 30-day Deluxe trial for their workspace. Once enabled, your team can begin using Deluxe features right away.

What happens during the 30-day trial?

During the trial you can explore all HeyTaco Deluxe features, including:

• Milestones for birthdays and work anniversaries
• Instant Gift Cards in the Taco Shop

This gives you time to see how your team engages with the new features before deciding whether to continue using Deluxe.

What happens after the trial ends?

After the trial, admins can choose whether to continue using HeyTaco Deluxe.If Deluxe is not continued, your team will continue using HeyTaco Classic as usual with the standard features.

How much does HeyTaco Deluxe cost?

HeyTaco Deluxe is an optional upgrade to HeyTaco that adds milestone automation and instant gift card rewards. HeyTaco Deluxe is a month-to-month subscription priced at $5 per user/per month. You can upgrade to or downgrade from Deluxe at any time.

Will Deluxe change how tacos work today?

No.Your team can continue sending tacos exactly as you do today. Deluxe simply adds automation and additional reward options.

Do we need to purchase gift cards or manage vendors?

No. Gift cards are fulfilled directly by HeyTaco, so admins do not need to purchase rewards, manage vendors, or distribute gift cards manually.

How are gift cards funded?

Admins add gift cards to their Taco Shop and fund the rewards through HeyTaco. When an employee redeems tacos for a reward, the gift card is automatically delivered.

What if our team already fulfills rewards manually?

Many teams currently send gift cards manually through custom rewards. Instant Gift Cards automates this process so employees can redeem tacos directly for rewards without admin involvement. You can also keep custom rewards if that works better for your team and budget.

If you’d like to replace manual gift card fulfillment with instant gift cards, follow these steps:

• Step 1: Enable your Deluxe trial.
• Step 2: Add instant gift cards to your Taco Shop from the HeyTaco catalog.
• Step 3: Remove custom rewards so there is no confusion for employees as to which reward to redeem.

Do we need to use both Milestones and Gift Cards?

No.You can enable either feature depending on how your team prefers to recognize each other. Some teams use Deluxe only for milestone celebrations, while others focus on rewards.

How long does setup take?
